Superior North Catholic School Board was pleased to celebrate our office expansion attached to the St. Martin Catholic School in Terrace Bay, Ontario with an open house being held June 11, 2022.
The relocation of the office building expansion in Terrace Bay from Simcoe Plaza to the new location attached to St. Martin School was completed in 2020, but with the pandemic, we were unable to hold our grand opening event. The expansion was required due to the required changes set out by the Accessibility Act; businesses and public sector organizations must be accessible to all, and modernization is required for compliance and safety.
The Superior North Catholic District School Board office is now fully accessible to all members of the North Shore Communities. We analyzed our requirements for the office and selected the most cost-effective and energy-efficient solution to meet the needs of our organization.
Superior North Catholic School Board is proud to be an integral part of the North Shore and will always strive to better serve our schools. We are committed to being a vital part of the economic and educational aspects of our community.
Superior North Catholic District School Board staff led children’s activities and playground games, demonstrations of the school LU interactive system, Virtual Reality Headsets, 3-D Printer and a tour of our new office building. Visitors were treated to a free BBQ.
